Technological advances, and the forward progression of mankind is moving at such a rapid pace it's hard to decide what to teach those who graduate from high school and go on to college to get a degree. A recent study showed that much of what you would learn in your first semester at a four year college, will be outdated by your senior year.

Today, someone that has a Ph.D. will surely come to realize that within a decade their Ph.D. is of no value at all. All that is really of value is that they were able to stick to the program and complete it, which says something about their character, drive, and ambition.

It says more about who they are, than what they know. Now this brings up a very good point and unfortunately more questions such as;

"What is worth teaching?"
"Is there anything worth teaching?"

These are good questions. And not long ago, I asked an associate of mine; "What have you come up with on these so far?" It turns out although his question was rhetorical, he didn't have an answer, and acted almost as if there is no answer, but I think there is and let me explain.

It is worth teaching kids and young adults to think for themselves, to innovate, to adapt, and to overcome any challenge or any task before them. They need to learn to think to solve problems and use their creative genius to come up with solutions that don't create future problems. That is what is worth teaching. Please consider this.
