College is something you should take very seriously. You pay good money and spend several hours dedicating your time to it. A lot of students spend time complaining about their college professors. Whether they're unfair, always late, don't give your homework back in time or they are rude, this is something that should be taken seriously.

There are too many college professors out there that get away with bad teaching and everything else under the sun. We pay way too much money to these professors for them to teach poorly. If you have a professor that has gone too far, or doesn't teach well, you need to report them!

The only way that a professor will know they're teaching poorly is by having someone report them and for someone in the college staff to talk to them. Here is how you can report a college professor.

Dean's Office: You should try going down to the dean's office so you can talk to someone. When you do, tell them why you're there and why you're upset with your professor.

Secretary: If you can't get to your Dean's office or if they aren't doing anything about it, talk to your secretary. They have ties to the professors and the staff and maybe that can slip in a few words.

End of Semester: At the end of the semester it's common that each professor has to get graded on their teaching for the semester. If you think they've done a poor job, be sure to write that down! Write down anything you'd like, just be honest.

Reporting a bad professor isn't something you should feel guilty about. They get paid some good money, should be a good role model, and should help you in every way that can. If something is getting in the way of that, it should be reported.
