teach english in Asia? I currently teach English, in china, and it sucks. At first i thought it would be ok, a bunch of cute kids, wanna have fun and play with the big white thing (me).can't complain (although i am) because it funded my Chinese education, and its paying my bills while I do my internship, but wow. they have these English schools on the weekend and there the worse. Kids being forced for hours to sit and learn when they only want to have fun.
Plus learning English in china is not cheap, with the one child policy the kids tend to come from very rich, and very spoiled family’s. So they tend to get out of control and go crazy (like kids should)
I also would like to point out, none of my younger students can't form any sentences. they are forced to learn 100's of words without the knowledge of making sentences
Frankly i think these schools are a waste of money for the parents, theyshould start when kid is older
i guess older pp are bit be better, because they want to learn
