When I was in elementary school, I was fortunate to have excellent teachers who taught me how to read, (and I love to read) and proper hygiene & manners. I had music teachers from 2nd through 8th grade who taught me to love music & how to sing, (I have a broad interest in music). In 7th grade my geography teacher, who was also a mountain climber and explorer, instilled in me a love for the outdoors and nature (I love to mountain hike). From 2nd grade through 5th, my gym teachers raised my self esteem and self confidence and taught me how to be a better athlete than I already was,(I've always been active in athletics and coaching), and I'm a history nut because my history teachers made learning history fun and interesting. Most of my teachers were very good to me and were good at their job. They had a more profound effect on my life than my own parents.
