I carefully read through your article on the Silent Period in Second Language Acquisition and found it to be very detailed and specific in explaining why this period of time is necessary and how many teachers fail to recognize this period or stage of Language Acquisition.

One thing I would like to add is that from my experience in working with ESL Students who were in the Silent Period, I found that the use of visuals, as well as TPR (Total Physical Response) Activities helped the students develop better and quicker comprehension of both content and vocabulary.
