Woodstock School in the Indian Himalayas is one of the most highly esteemed Christian international schools in South Asia. Our alumni are active in almost every part of the globe and continue to support the development of this exciting and effective centre of learning.

In 1854, a company of British officers and two American missionaries was formed in Dehra Dun. Concerned for Protestant education for girls, they solicited the help of a group of English women to help staff and manage what was to become Woodstock School.

Woodstock is located 1 kilometer outside of Mussoorie on the south side of a mountain with a 350 meter (1,000 feet) rise from the lowest to the highest points on campus. The entire 250-acre campus lies within a protected forest that supports a pristine mixed pine, rhododendron and Himalayan oak environment, a very peaceful contrast to the bustle of the local bazaar.

The main campus buildings and residences are spread out over the hillside, a mixture of old and new. Staff homes and residences are nestled amongst the trees across the campus with trails connecting them. Two motor roads run through the campus. These lead from Mussoorie into the hills.
