Mission: To provide an international, quality education, based on the sovereignty of Christ and Christian values, primarily for students of the mission community, and to provide training for teachers, in order to equip students and teachers to positively impact their world.

Kathmandu International Study Centre (KISC) is a culturally diverse international school established in 1987 mainly for the education of expatriate mission families. KISC is moving from being a joint programme of UMN and INF to being a self-governing project of HDCS in early 2005.

KISC is the only international school in Nepal with both Middle State Association (MSA, American) and Cambridge International Examinations (The United Kingdom) accreditation. This high standard of education we now want to pass on to others through our Teacher Training Programme for KISC teachers and Nepali schools.
