COSMO Academy is a prestigious English language school
located in Taipei, Taiwan and owned by a Canadian.
The teaching facility is situated in near proximity
to the MRT station. We offer 8 levels of English language
education: Beginners(2 levels),Pre-Intermediate(2 levels),
Intermediate(2 levels),and Advanced(2 levels). Courses
offered are: Business English, Conversation, Writing,
International Current Events, and TOEIC testing.

Our approach to teaching English is an eclectic mix of the
most recent innovations in language teaching methodology
and is based on the latest in linguistic research.
There is a strict ENGLISH-ONLY policy while in the teaching
premise so not only will students have to speak English
during classtime, but positive reinforcement allows students
to use whatever English level they have achieved with teachers
and their peers during breaktime. Text-based materials are
used with caution, emphasizing situationally based examples
to solidify the new grammar concept taught.

Our mission is to provide students with the essential
Language Acquisition Method to begin or continue ESL education. We
strive as a mediator to help you focus on improving your
English needs. This means that a "hands-on" approach to
the material just learned develops English aquisition quicker.
Many examples are used and repeated in various situations to
assist in memorization.

Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 8 students to allow
greater interaction with peers and the teacher. Teachers
actively monitor conversations and the progress of each
student through listening tests, written tests, and a
concept check before progressing to new material.
