English Program

For the English Program, teachers are required to teach content subjects, like math or literature, to the assigned grade levels. Our class sizes range from 20 – 30 students per class. Per week, teachers will have between 15-18 contact hours, generally spread out to 3 or 4 hours per day. School hours are 8.00 to 15.30, although they vary from school to school.

All classrooms are well equipped for learning, with LCD projectors, whiteboards, and air conditioning. Teachers are also well equipped, as each teacher is supplied with curriculum, lesson plans and PowerPoint Presentations for each lesson. Additionally, teachers are provided with a notebook computer which contains all teaching materials, black line masters, and teacher editions of course books. We use McGraw Hill text books in the classroom, which enables teachers to have an enormous amount of material to utilize, from online resources to worksheets, reviews and even remedial practice. Grades are entered and computed utilizing our Online Management System (OMS) which weighs the values of grades assigned as homework, class work, quiz, test, project, participation, or exam.

Each school is assigned a Thai coordinator who will assist you in making copies, stocking supplies and program maintenance.
