Check out Ypao Beach Park. One of the most popular beaches located in Tumon Bay, this is an ideal place to go swimming and relax in the warmth of Guam. The beach also has picnic areas, pavilions and a play center for children. Ypao Beach Park is a great place to enjoy the essence of Guam.

Go to Fort Apugan in Agana. This is a fascinating historical site from the Spanish era. Built in 1800, this fort was constructed to protect the safety of Agana as well as the bay. Nowadays, tourists can look at disassembled cannons and platforms, as well as enjoy an amazing view from a vantage point.

Spend some time at the South Pacific Memorial Park. This park is located at the final area of the Japanese occupation of Guam. Built through donations from the Japanese public, the park commemorates more than 500,000 lives that were lost in the war. The 50-foot statue is white and sleek and visually very impressive. Go to Latte Stone Park. This is a site that is reminiscent of Stonehenge in England, depicting home constructing techniques that go back as far as A.D. 500. Visit Isla Center for the Arts in Agana. This center is a wonderful place to learn and explore the history and culture of Micronesian heritage. Composed of both permanent and temporary exhibitions, visitors will be able to see many anthropological items, arts and crafts with a heavy Asian influence and items like ceremonial dress and stone tools.
