Travel, Teach, Live in China
Greetings. I have two items that should be of interest and value to anyone wanting to teach in China particularly and maybe other Asian countries.
One is a warning to avoid a man named James Zhang (or Frank Zhang) from an ESL recruiting website named tefl.cc. The man appears to be a fraud and a con artist operating under several aliases and his tefl website should be avoided at all costs.
Second, I have posted on my website information about an ad this man placed on many websites, a copy of his contract, and a copy of a letter I sent to him with questions needing responses. These 3 items should be instructional if not enlightening to anyone wanting to teach in China (or already there).
Also, I have posted some useful information and tips on finding schools and negotiating teaching contracts. This should save many of you some headaches if not heartaches. It applies to everyone.
The URL is http://www.bearcanada.com/esl/scam.html.
Regards,
