In crystal January, the best places to go are Harbin and Jilin. The charm of winter is perfectly embodied in these two northern cities. Various ice sculptures and ice lanterns decorate Harbin, and the Ice International Festival also adds too much fun to winter Harbin. Jilin is famous for the crystal rimed trees which should not be missed in a winter trip.

Beach cities become more attractive in middle summer, especially in north China. Qingdao, Weihai, Yantai, and Dalian are strung together along the east coastline. Visit them in July and have fun in these lovely cities.
August provides the best conditions to explore Tibet. Taking train by the newly-built Qinghai-Tibet railway is strongly recommended to start Tibet trip. You could sleep over in local family and experience the real Tibetan life.
When it gets cool in September, the season of fruits is coming, too. It’s time to start a Xinjiang tour. The ripe grapes and hami melons, the picturesque Kanas Lake and grassland, and the local beauties would all leave you deep impression.
Although Jiuzhaigou has different beautiful sceneries according to seasons, most people believe that the most appealing Jiuzhaigou is in October. The autumn leaves make the fairy-tale world more colorful. You could imagine the golden and red leaves are reflected on the blue lakes.
Go to Guizhou to experience ethnic charms in November. The Miao villages, the hanging foot residences, the attractive wine culture and the pleasing wax printing highlight the whole Guizhou trip.
