BE WEARY of WEIER!!
My friend was lured to teach in China with the promise of a furnished apartment, health insurance, internet and utilities.
The apartment was spartan to say the least and she could never get the internet connection to work. There were no dishes, utensils or pots and pans. You can only take 2 suitcases and it costs hundreds of dollars to ship anything. There never was health insurance and she can't get any of her prescription meds there, I tried shipping her meds to her, but the Great Wall intercepted it as contraban even though it was shipped with the prescription. The Company that brought her there, Weier, brought her into china on a tourist visa, which she later found that she was there illegally. When she brought this to their attention she was terminated and forced to leave the appartment.
