I have a blog for Ell students to practice writing and commenting that you are invited to share with your students. A blog is simply an type of website that is easily edited and changed. Think of it as an online journal that anyone can see.

My goal for the blog is help the students to practice their writing skills by having them write about different topics (really anything that they want to). Using these, to then help them revise for English conventions, add detail, expand their thinking, etc. There is research that shows this to be an effective tool for increasing motivation to not only write, but to motivate to care about spelling, grammar, etc.
