Guangdong Country Garden (IB World) School consists of three parts: Bilingual Chinese Section、IB International Section and Foreign Students Section.

Bilingual Chinese Section exists to strengthen bilingual Chinese-style streamlined education with Kindergarten, Primary, Junior and Senior School. Its aim is to satisfy the needs of the parents who are preparing their children to study in domestic universities. IB International Section carries out streamlined international education with Kindergarten, PYP, MYP and DP in order to meet the needs of the parents who are preparing their children to study in overseas universities.

Foreign Students Section of Guangdong Country Garden (IB World) School is an institution where foreign students can receive Chinese training so that they can study in our Bilingual Chinese Section or the IB International Section.

IB International Section
IB International Section offers IB programs, including Diploma Program (DP, for 16 --19 year-old students); Middle Year Program (MYP, for 11--16 year-old students): and Primary Year Program (PYP, for 3 --12 year-old students).

IB International Section helps students to become critical thinkers, lifelong learners, well-rounded individuals and engaged citizens. IB International Section also aims to develop students' capabilities in researching and exploring the world; to teach students to have an open mind and caring nature to other people; to encourage students to create a better world for human beings.

The International Baccalaureate Organization
IBO, founded in 1968 with its Headquarters in Switzerland, is an international education and examination organization registered with UNESCO. It is one of the leading organizations in international education. Presently 2,145 schools in 125 countries are members of IBO, with over 500,000 students.

IBO international curriculum integrates the advantages of education of many countries. IB Diploma is favorable recognized by many famous universities like Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, Yale, Princeton, and some other major academic institutes in the world. With the IB diploma, candidates can be directly admitted to more than 1600 standard universities dispersed in over 118 countries and regions worldwide, some of which offer a very good scholarship to our top-achieving candidates.
