Qiqihar Medical University is a state-owned institution for higher education, founded in 1946 with a long and proud history. The university, located in Qiqihar city of Heilongjiang province northeast of China, has the campus with total area of 1,150 thousand square meters. The university consists of preclinical medicine school, mental health school, pharmacy school, medical technology school, public health school, nursing school, continuing education school, foreign language department, social science faculty, gym faculty and modern technology education center, offering more than 20 programs of study leading to bachelor's degree in specialities of clinical medicine, preventive medicine, nursing, psychiatry, pharmacy, pharmaceutical engineering, public health administration, etc, and 10 affiliated hospitals, and 10 research institutes, with the total staff of 2,282 and 12,000 students at the university. The university are enrolling foreign students for the program of MBBS. The affiliated hospitals provide students with good conditions for their learning and practicing.
