ESL Teaching and Learning Tips
Hi Carmen-
Medical English for nurses, doctors and healthcare is truly a specialty English. Maybe a Spanish Esl teacher may not be the best choice for teaching med English to a Chinese nurse. An in-depth knowledge of not just the terminology, but how its pronounced, used, and lay terminology needs to be had by the teacher.
What city does the nurse live in? If you like, maybe I can help with a curriculum for her to do some self study. I've discovered there really aren't any good books for this in China, but I've created a curriculum for use over the internet.
But if her conversational English is not good, she'll need to improve that before she can realistically expect to learn med English.
You or she can contact me at the above email address.
