The time has past for asking what to do. I went ahead and tried-on enrolling the class monitors in the possibility of causing integrity within their classes. I was pretty down-to-earth and inspiring if I do say so myself. Screaming and shouting and running about rarely gets any serious recognition, I think.

So, after discussion, an agreement was reached with the monitors about what works and what doesn't .. not just for the teachers but for the students as a whole. It is now up to them to pass it on to the student in their charge. They either will or they won't.

Once again, it's clear that at the end of the day, I don't care if the student cheat. In reality, they will do what they do. They are totally responsible for themselves and what they get out of life. The thing of it is, I know it's not about me- I just happen to be there.

My job is to teach English to the best of my ability. I'm the guide. The rest is up to them.
