There's nothing perfect in the real world. Everything has its flaws and impurities - even the clearest diamond's atomic structure contains many deviations from the ideal arrangement. So do you have to worry about making a few mistakes while speaking? Definitely not!

Every person that speaks makes mistakes. Even in their native language. And now let's think what happens when you speak your native tongue and mispronounce a word - you'd probably laugh about that! And why should it be much different when you're speaking English? The answer is - it's not any different!

Get rid of the habit of analyzing your speech too much. You probably have a reflex of spotting your grammar mistakes while you speak and right after it happens you notice it and this is what starts hampering your very speech. And eventually you'll speak even worse than before!

When you just speak and don't think too much about the righteousness of the words and grammar, the sub-conscious mind will do its job and get the things right at most of the times.

Funny enough, but there are many people whose grammar is really bad and they use wrong words sometimes but they speak very fluently. Maybe when they learnt the language, they didn't pay too much attention to getting the grammar and tenses perfectly right, and as a result the speech has developed in a slightly distorted way.

However, what counts most is that they can speak and feel absolutely free while speaking English! And when it comes to when native English speakers speak - actually they're far from being perfect! Not to mention colloquial speech where we can hear all kinds of wrong tenses and mispronounced words.

On the TV and media we can hear things like "They told you that?" although the grammar states we have to say "Did they tell you that?" This makes us understand that the live English language doesn't always stick to the proper grammar rules.

I'm not saying now - don't care about the grammar! It always feels nice to be able to say things in the right way and most likely you're already getting the things right when the speech problem isn't present.

The bottom line is - when you speak, don't think about grammar and getting the words and tenses right. Just speak everything out - speak the English language as you naturally do.
