My name is Eric Newman and I want to thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a B.S.B.A. During my time at Saint Joe’s I successfully completed a rigorous curriculum in a variety of fields such as economics, philosophy, business, and English. Although I graduated from the business school, I gravitated toward reading books on psychology in my spare time. After graduation I decided that I wanted to change my path from business to something more personal, rewarding, and adventurous; so I decided to enter a teaching program aboard in Thailand.

Upon completion of my certification, I began teaching English to young learners at a Private school in Chiang Mai Thailand full-time. I also worked in part-time positions that varied from a corporate English instructor to an online English tutor. The experience in Thailand greatly exceeded my expectations and challenged me in numerous ways; the greatest being that it pushed me far out of my comfort zone. In the end, it was the greatest experience I ever took part in.

I hope to move to South America and continue growing both professionally and personally. I am attracted to South America and hope to find work in one of the following countries: Peru, Columbia, Chile, Argentina. I am very dynamic and flexible - I am always looking for ways to improve myself.
