I'm writing to express my interest applying as Physics/Math teacher in your school. I have extensive experience and knowledge in Secondary Education and would like to share my enthusiasm and training with the students in your school. It is my desire to teach where I can make a difference for students both inside and outside of the classroom. I believe my broad-based English language knowledge, writing skills and experience make me an excellent candidate for this position.

My education includes a B.S. in Secondary Education, major in Mathematics. Even though I majored Math, still I have gained in-depth knowledge of subjects which include communication arts, phonetics and oral English, developmental reading, effective writing, public speaking and argumentation and lastly, literatures of the world. Moreover, for my major Mathematics, this subject includes algebra, trigonometry, differential and integral calculus, probability and statistics and subjects related to mathematics. With regards to mathematics, it is very important to have depth knowledge in English before you solve any problems and that what makes me fit for the teaching job. Aside from that, I have also passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers last August 2005.

I have almost 11 years of teaching experience in China. My background includes teaching Math, Physics and Mechanics Teacher in Shaoxing Textile Middle School where we followed the Cambridge Curriculum. I have also taught in Physics in Henan Experimental High School, Zhengzhou, Henan, China. My last teaching job was in Canada-Zibo No. 11 Secondary School where I taught Math and Physics for two years. I am skilled at formulating curricula and lesson plans, preparing progress reports and report cards.

Positions working in these schools have allowed me to develop good interpersonal skill. I am confident that my combination of practical work experience and solid educational experience has prepared me for making an immediate contribution to private and public schools. In addition, during these years I have equipped myself with elementary functions such as creating a fun, safe, and thriving environment to provide direct instruction to students using an established curriculum.
