Hi everyone! My name is Sam and I’m currently searching for English teaching jobs in Guangzhou, both part time or full time. I got a bachelor’s degree in linguistics and translation, but mainly my experience was in the line of education, so I used to teach kids of different ages like 8 to 10, 14-15 years olds and I got some chance to deal with babies classes. Overall I’ve been working as a private tutor and small groups teacher for 3 years. In China I taught kids for 3 months in Kunming, Yunnan province at the training centre basically and also got some part time jobs as well in the kindergarden and one group of middle school students. As for my teaching approach or style I think I’m kinda flexible, understanding, kids confide in me and share their troubles and joy with me. I am able to hear them out, got patience and concern and actually I prefer dealing with kids rather than adults cuz they are more open minded and genuine. I guess one of the serious short comings of my character is that I got bored real quick, but that helps me to arrange classes and stay inventive and fresh comin up with new games, activities and topics for discussion for a long time.
