Profile:
I am a native English speaker from the USA with extensive experience abroad teaching in 7 different countries. I feel I would be a great fit for your school because of my experience and my love of teaching by that I mean I'm not just looking for another teaching position I would be looking for a good school that treats its teacher’s right that I can stay with for years to come. As you will see on my CV I have a lot of experience teaching all ages and lots of different types of classes such as IELTS prep, Cambridge exam classes, YL, FCE, Starters, Movers, Flyers programs, KET 1,2,3 and PET 1,2,3 as well as private one to one classes, a few business English classes. I take my position as a native speaking teacher seriously and try to make my classes fun and interactive for the students no matter the age.

Work Experience:
1. School: San Francisco De Asis
Where: Ocotepeque, Honduras
When: January 2013 – September 2013
Salary: 1,000 Lempiras per month plus free accommodation and meals
Summary of the job:
I taught Grammar, phonics and conversational English to grades 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11th in a small community in Honduras. The job entailed me to write lesson plans and also the students have workbooks for homework as well as further reading to enhance their listening and pronunciation skills. There is no set curriculum as we as teachers develop it throughout the school year.

2. School: Prime Coach Training Center
Where: Tashkent, Uzbekistan
When: September 2013 - March 2014
Salary: 2 Million Soms per month plus Accommodation
Summary of the job:
Preparing adults, children and teenagers for the IELTS exam. Training with reading, writing, listening and speaking. Also I taught ESL to a few classes for beginners such as Phonics, grammar, and basic learning items. In addition, I had business English classes for IT as well which include general speaking and grammar practice with working professionals.

3. School: Anh Viet English Training Center
Where: Tan An, Vietnam
When: March 2014 – September 2014
Salary: $950 per month plus accommodation and motorbike
Summary of the job:
Teaching at 5 different schools within the Anh Viet branches from ages 5 to adult, basic grammar for starters to KET and PET (University of Cambridge prep classes) and up to adults where I would teach phonics, pronunciation, writing as well as conversational English classes, TOEIC and private tutoring classes at students homes along with a few FCE classes.

4. School: Simply English

Where: Moscow, Russia
When: October 2014 – January 2015
Salary: $1,500 per month and discounted accommodation
Summary of the job:
Public as well as private clients and classes varying from KET, PET, IELTS , Cambridge Starters, Movers and Flyers. 1 on 1 classes with some private classes and maximum class sizes at schools is 8-10 students per class. Basic to intermediate grammar and conversational classes. Age ranges from 6 years old to adult.

5. School: Pegem English Center

Where: Eskisehir, Turkey
When: January 2015 – June 2015
Salary: 2000 TL per month plus accommodation
Summary of the job:
Taught TOEFL, General English, IELTS and Business Classes to a variety of levels from Elementary to Upper Intermediate. Class sizes were kept small so students have a chance to learn and focus, 1 on 1’s and up to 15 per class maximum.

6. School: New Space International Center

Where: Ha Tinh City, Vietnam
When: July 2015 – January 2016
Salary: $900 per month plus accommodation and motorbike
Summary of the job:
Classes included all age ranges and levels including children, teenagers/university and adults using AEF books, listening and speaking classes, Cambridge Starters, Movers and Flyers Exam classes. KET 1,2,3 and PET 1,2,3, TOEIC classes and IELTS for upper level students. Class sizes varied from 1 on 1’s to 20 students per class.

7. School: Native Tongue

Where: Ibagué, Colombia
When: January 2016 - September 2016
Salary: 1,100,000 pesos per month
Summary of the job:
Classes were all different levels from beginner 1 to Conversational classes. Class sized ranged from 10-20 students and the school curriculum with books was taught. I worked split shifts and every couple of months classes would switch teachers. Grammar, reading, writing and speaking were the main themes for classes.

Salary: $2,100 per month plus accommodation,motorbike and O.T. paid at $20/hr
Summary of the job:
Classes included all age ranges and levels including children, teenagers/university and adults using AEF books and Superminds textbooks as well as listening and speaking classes, Cambridge Starters, Movers and Flyers classes. KET 1,2,3 and PET 1,2,3, FCE classes and IELTS for upper level students. Class sizes varied from 1 on 1’s to 20 students per class and 25-30 hours per week.

9. Coral Tree Education Foundation

Where: Battambang, Cambodia
When: February 2018 - January 2019
Salary: Basic Volunteering wage (Ngo) $800 per month nothing included

Summary of the job:

I decided to give back something this year to a great foundation helping rural Cambodian kids an opportunity to start learning English. The children are beginners so a lot of phonics, writing and some games were incorporated into the lessons. The books used were "Super Kids". Teaching students about the importance of eco living and environmental issues as well because most of the students come from poorer farming families.
