My name is Saverio Mattoli, I am a DELTA-qualified teacher with six years’ experience in the EAL field who is currently working at a candidate IB school in Kunming, China. I have spent most of my teaching career in China, and after five years of living and teaching here I have finally decided to move on.

I am currently working towards a PGCEi with the University of Nottingham, which I should be able to complete by March 2019, and I am looking for employment at an international school in South East Asia or one of the Gulf countries (with a preference for the UAE).

Despite my extensive experience in the EAL field, I am not a certified teacher yet, and I n order to ease the transition to working in an international school setting I wouldn’t be opposed to taking an internship position. My goal is to develop further as an EAL practitioner in a K-12 context, and this would be an ideal opportunity for me to do so.
