I have been teaching full-time for 7 years, including teaching English abroad and online the last 2 years. I have a Diploma of Education, TESOL/TESL/TEFL certification, Music Diploma, and I'm very excited about teaching in China.

I began my teaching career 9 years ago as a private music instructor, building a small business providing in-home or in-studio private lessons. I enjoyed the work very much and decided to pursue teaching as a career. After completing my Diploma in Education, I worked as a program director at a private school, instructing individuals and groups, and overseeing the development and administration of a cutting-edge music education program. I´ve long been interested in working abroad however, and I decided to pursue teaching English as a second language. Since then I have been working and living in South and Central America both as an online English teacher and an elementary to high-school level English teacher.

I'm very passionate about my work and think I bring a lot of enthusiasm to my classes. I ensure I deliver a variety of student centered approaches to connect with students of various learning styles. I want to be the best teacher I can be and plan on becoming a high-school teacher in the future.
