OBJECTIVES

Teaching – Over twenty years of experience teaching English, in a broad range of teaching situations, including day-to-day and long-term substitute teaching, teaching ESL in both inner-city urban and rural environments and teaching Adult ESL in the U.S.A. -Designed and implemented a Common Core State Standards-based curriculum

Responsibilities – Working closely with 14 elementary school teachers to increase their English language proficiency, pedagogical and methodological awareness and the specific strategies and skills necessary to become more effective English teachers

• Accomplishments—
-Developed and implemented a unique phonics program integrating synthetic phonics with existing phonics program
-Created Interactive Word Walls in several classrooms, inspiring teachers to create and utilize more creative, visual and interactive classrooms
