Japan (June-July 2018)
By:K. Adams <Kimie.adams@yahoo.com>
Date: 29 March 2018

I am looking for a 6-7 week summer job teaching English in Japan during the months of June and July 2018. If it works out, I would like to commit to teaching at the school every summer until I am able to move to Japan in 4-5 years and then work full time.

I have traveled to Japan before, so I am familiar with Japanese customs and culture. I have a B.A. in English from Whitworth College, Spokane Washington. I have TESL certification from Seattle University. I have a M.A. in Education from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix Arizona. I have a fingerprint clearance card because I am a certified secondary teacher in Arizona with SEI (Structured English Immersion) endorsement on my certificate, enabling me to teach ELL (English Language Learner) students. I have had many years of teaching experience and although I am certified to teach middle school and high school, I have also had many years of experience teaching younger children (preschool and elementary) because I once operated my own licensed daycare business in Minnesota.
I have excitement and love for teaching with many creative ideas to incorporate into my teaching methodologies. I have had extensive ESL training as a teacher. I am responsible, professional and would be committed to my job. I have a deep and sincere love for Japan.
