Hello SE ASIA/Viet Nam !

From the United States with a BA in English and graduate studies in Psychology/Linguistics, I arrived in Ha Noi last April to teach at an NGO for six weeks before moving to Sai Gon.

This last year I've taught at a local language center in Long Khanh, at all levels from kindergarden to adults. Although the school is developing it's own method of teaching, the standard text books were Cutting Edge, Superkids, Smartchoice, Face2Face. There were also IELS classes which I taught. Additionally, I was appointed as a visiting instructor at St. Joseph's Seminary by the Catholic Bishop of Dong Nai and of the Catholic Institute of Vietnam, where I would also teach. My tenure here is now coming to an end, and I'd very much like to stay on here in Vietnam teaching young students, kindergarden to early teens.

My teaching experience prior to Vietnam has been in the United States, Hungary, and China. Other subjects which I have taught at the secondary level are: U.S. History, English Literature and Composition, French, Theater&Music. Prior to my graduation from Colby College, Waterville ME, USA in 1990, I attended Cardigan Mt School and Avon Old Farms School, private boarding schools for boys.
