I am currently working in Hanoi as an EFL teacher gaining invaluable teaching experience that I feel I can use elsewhere. I have become passionate about teaching and want to further my career as an EFL teacher. I am a dedicated, enthusiastic and hardworking person who would be an asset to any team within an education environment. I am keen to learn new skills and to further increase and develop my existing skills and knowledge.

January 2017-present

I currently teach English to Vietnamese students in public schools across the Hanoi region. I primarily teach students aged 6-11 with the focus mostly being on speaking and listening skills. Alongside teaching I also prepare for lessons by creating resources such as flashcards, worksheets and games to make the lessons engaging.

International Volunteering Project Poland June-July 2013

I worked as part of a group of volunteers whose primary role was to teach English in local schools. During our time in Poland we also worked with a group of disabled children and adults. The experience frequently demanded that I think on my feet therefore developing my ability to use my initiative in challenging situations.
