I consider myself a committed, responsible, energetic individual who enjoys a challenge and meeting new people. I work effectively as part of a team; I can also manage a group effectively, yet can easily demonstrate concentration and determination when working independently. I would like to broaden my life experiences as well as teaching experience to eventually enroll for a degree course in a teaching qualification.

Nationwide (Full Time) Oct 2015-Present
I currently work as a Data admin at Nationwide. In this job I am required to do multiple tasks that involve dealing with crucial customer information. Even though this is only a temp position my managers have noticed my progress amongst the company and my enthusiasm to work. In result I have been given many responsibilities and duties during my time working with Nationwide, for instance I was required to train and supervise a team of seven at one point ensuring everyone was working and completing the task at hand when we were short staffed. My work mainly consists of Data entry, as well as prepping and sending out mail to be shipped all around the UK.

BP & M&S (Full Time) Apr – Oct 2015
One previous job was at BP’s petrol station in Wootton Basset, in this job I was required to take in deliveries carefully and safely. I then stocked the shelves with the cold goods within a reasonable time. I was also required to serve behind the till and also pour and serve beverages and food to the customers from Wild Bean café. My other duties consisted of safety maintenance checks to ensure the forecourt is safe before allowing customers to use the pumps. I would also cook the food at wild bean cafe as well and price mark and label all expiring food on the shop floor daily. I was also in charge of dropping cash whenever the till exceeds the limited amount with the average of £200 drops which need to be recorded, signed for and accounted before processed through the terminal.

Bluestone Park Resort KOTE (Full Time) Oct 2014 – Jan 2015
My most recent position was working for the holiday park Bluestone. I worked over the Christmas period as an elf to entertain families and children who have paid to see the show Kingdom of the Elves. In this Job I performed as a scripted character towards groups ranging from ten to forty people. Within the job I would have to perform the given scene, dependent on the room as well as control and entertain the audience all while keeping within a fifteen minute time frame, children were aged from newborn to teenagers which came to prove to be quite a challenge. Once the fifteen minute performance was done you would send the group onto the next stage of the journey and then prepare for another group to come in moments after. An average day would consist of performing the same piece 25 times within one day, performing to over thousands of individuals. This job required high energy and a fun friendly attitude throughout the day where we could be working for thirteen hours straight.

Stagecoach Acting School (Part Time) July 2014 – Oct 2014
I recently was a teaching assistant at Stagecoach school of acting held at ST Joseph’s school in Swindon, In this job I had to ensure that the children in the classroom were paying attention to the teacher and the lesson and that none of them were struggling with the task’s that they had to complete. I also made sure they were safe and that they were supervised when taking trips to the bathroom. In my period of employment we put on a performance for the parents to see in which I had to conduct on stage for the children to follow.

Disney Store (Part time) May 2013 – Oct 2014
I also worked at the Disney Store in the town center. I was there for over a year working in retail. I am till trained with serving and dealing with customers. I have been complimented on my sales skills with the ‘talk-up’s’ which are additional purchases by the customers at the till’s. Another aspect of my job consists of me being friendly and polite to customers greeting them when they enter the store as well as answering any questions they may have concerning any products within the shop or anything else Disney related. I also show the customers around the store if they are struggling to find a gift or present ideas. I have been considered by my colleges and the secret shoppers in their feedback to be very enthusiastic and polite.

Swindon Rendezvous - Chinese restaurant (Part time) Sept – Dec 2012
I worked as a waiter at Rendezvous for three months serving customers and taking orders; I also cleaned tables and set them to the required standard of the restaurant and also served customers drinks from the bar. This has helped me develop skills within the catering environment and also my communication skills with customers. I also poured and served drinks from the bar to customers.

National Citizenship Service (Voluntary charity work) – Summer 2011
I participated in a charity work scheme created by the government called NCS where I worked with a group of people from all around Wiltshire to raise money for charity. We raised money for the charity Food Bank which distributes food to the homeless. During this I gained certificates in: OCN Leadership, Sports Leadership, NCFE Certificate, ASDAN Certificate and Basic First Aid.

Activities /Notable Experience
My hobbies consist of me performing in two professional theatre companies located in Swindon one called TS theatre and the other Madame Renarde’s, this involves singing on stage in musicals or solo performances as well as acting on stage in comedies or serious drama’s. Being so involved with performing I like to consider that this makes me quite friendly and outgoing when meeting new people. I also find it easy to adapt to new technology being quite computer savvy at home. I attend singing lessons with Janice Thompson a professional singing tutor. I try to find work as often as I can that involves performing and acting.

I started my own theatre group with a few of my college friends focusing at performing educational shows for children at schools around Wiltshire. We have performed at two different schools so far with a script I wrote and production we devised as a team. We received nothing but positive feedback and even a profit from the schools even though we stated that the performances were free. Both schools and have asked us to return with another performance in the near future.
