Hello. I am an American-trained scientist with a strong interest in academia. I am particularly drawn to ESL/EFL education. I would like a position helping children acquire and develop English proficiency. I am skilled in phonics, pronunciation, grammar, rhetoric and multiple styles of writing. I have ESL experience with children and adults, beginning-level to advanced-level students. I am comfortable one-on-one and in classes of 40+ students. I learned very quickly how to manage a room full of rowdy teenage boys with no interest in foreign language. I also know how to read a room and create material that will reach the students. I love working with children. I think they have terrific energy and that motivates me to do better for them. I am patient and kind, sincere and charming.
