Worked with students aged 14-17 at Three Oaks Senior High School. Acted as a tutor and
mentor, helped with assignments and projects, and structured work to accommodate students
with learning disabilities. Worked with students with learning and developmental disabilities oneon-
one; corrected assignments.

Au Pair, Seattle, WA; San Diego, CA:
Responsible for full-time childcare and the general well-being of the child. Responsible for
entertaining child, and planning all daily activities. Taught speech development, general
etiquette, swimming lessons, general math and language/writing lessons and assisted with
Spanish homework.

Youth Who Care Group Member:
A youth committee that organizes and holds events to raise funds for the Prince County
Hospital; Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Canadian Student Leadership Conference Spirit Leader:
Developed leadership workshops and activities for a national student leadership conference.
Facilitated workshops and trained students in leadership theories and practices.

Live Different Humanitarian Projects (Dominican Republic, Mexico):
Constructed housing facilities for impoverished families; renovated rural grade school and built
new classroom from the ground up. Worked in community along side foreign children for a total
of one month; informally worked in elementary classes for one week with children aged 2-8,
facilitating crafts and activities.

Minor Soccer Coach:
Organized and implemented energetic and engaging physical activities for children aged 4-8.
Developed their basic soccer skills, taught rules of the game, and facilitated practices and
games.

Canada Summer Games Volunteer:
Worked in the cycling unit; directed cyclist route and provided lunch for athletes.

Jack Frost Winter Carnival Volunteer:
Managed and operated the craft sector of the event, working with young children. Also worked
at ‘missing children’ station.

Fiveelevenwest Café, Credit Union Place, Summerside PE (Sept 2009-April 2014):
Part time employee during high school and university career. Duties included handling
monetary transactions, working independently and with coworkers, kitchen and food
preparation, and responsible for opening and closing the cafe.

Island Stone Pub, Kensington, PE (June-September 2014):
Responsible for waiting on and busing tables in a fast paced energetic environment;
maintaining customer satisfaction; active bartender; also responsible for opening and
closing the pub.

Lin’s Gourmet Express, Summerside, PE (January-May 2015):
Responsible for managing waitress staff; responsible for the interview and hiring process
for waitress staff; developing weekly work schedule for staff, responsible for waiting on
and busing tables, active hostess and also responsible for all monetary transactions in
restaurant.
