Resort Manager: Thai Garden Inn, Kanchanaburi, Thailand (March 2011-May 2012)

Managing an 11 bungalow, Bar/Restaurant Resort: My duties where to guide and supervise 5 staff members with little or no English. To run the bar/restaurant and oversee the preparation of the bungalows. To take bookings/records of the clients, to book excursions and organise transport, to deal with queries and to resolve any problems.

My main duties were managing two members of staff and overseeing the running of the bar during the evenings. I dealt with customers with a range of ages and cultures.

My main duties were supporting children with various learning difficulties and physical disabilities, to gain basic life skills I also taught English lessons for 1 hour a day. I am now in the process of setting up the centre as a registered Charity from the U.K.
