‘high output, high quality communicator, inspirational educator – an enthusiastic and valuable asset to any team’ A natural, fluid and effective communicator in any situation, and at any level, my ability to engage with individuals, small groups and larger numbers of people has been my most valuable asset throughout my working life. With an extensive commercial and educational multi-faceted, and completely transferable skill set, I have managed students, projects and staff successfully in academia, the arts, and commerce with demonstrable results. I have a flair for creative interpretation and harmonisation within a variety of formats and environments and I have proved myself as an innovative educator, coordinator and facilitator who can deliver consistently; a high quality communicator, high output contributor, and an enthusiastic, reliable and valuable asset to any team.
I believe that as an educator, being able to help people realise their potentials, begins by creating an ambiance in which people want to learn; with effective communication; with understanding. Communication is my outstanding strength. Using a combination of naturally irrepressible enthusiasm, acute perspicacity and perceptiveness, I am highly skilled in providing caring, supportive, nourishing and inspiring learning environments where my personal motto of ‘strive and achieve’ and ‘love what you do’ have been successfully and happily implemented.
Having a broad and diverse working and personal experience enables me to communicate effectively and engagingly across all levels and age ranges. I have an aptitude to motivate and enthuse others, highly self-motivated and naturally enthusiastic as I am! I’m happy in a team, and equally happy to lead and guide. I believe education can, and perhaps should, sometimes, be entertaining too; happy people learn faster!
Being endlessly curious and interested, I am always happy to learn, and seek to continue to learn and grow. Flexible and adaptable, I am neither 'above' or 'not up to' whatever duties are required of me; and this attitude, coupled with my resilience, diligence and professional and positive attitude and plain old ‘common sense’ resourcefulness in maximising the potential of available assets and conditions has gained me a reputation as someone who can be counted on to ‘make things happen; Someone who can initiate and coordinate projects, events and activities on small and grand scales, and just as importantly, sustain them.
My working life has encompassed a huge range of commercial, arts and educational projects of every nature and description in many roles, and the skills and experience I have gained are a huge personal asset which I contribute fully and enthusiastically to whatever projects I become involved with.
I'm looking to make a positive move, into a position that encompasses my ethos, interests and outlook, and makes best use of my skills and potentials, and that would give me the opportunity to grow and move forward within, and as part of an organisation and working on projects that I feel empathy with and have confidence in.
