The GATE program is looking for Homeroom teachers and Special Class teacher position. This is a great opportunity to live and work in one of the most premium neighborhoods of Gangnam Seoul!

Daechi GATE within walking distance to Yeoksam Station (Line 2) or Hanti Station (Bundang Line). This school is located close to Dogok Park, COEX Shopping Mall and Convention Center, Gangnam Station, Apgujeong Rodeo & Garosugil and more.

Homeroom teacher position: (Salary of 2.6 to 2.7 million won) teaching only 20 to 25 classes per week with your own homeroom classroom from 9:45 pm to 4:30-5:30 pm teaching with 6 :00 pm finish and able to leave the school

Special Class Teacher Position (Salary of 2.4 to 2.5 million) Teaches reading, leadership, creativity and cooking to gifted and talented young children with 9:45 am to 4:30-5:30 pm teaching hours and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm school hours. Monday to Friday teaching days no weekend work and no intensive classes that requires longer hours in these months.

Start Date: Late Feb for orientation/training with March 2nd as the first day of teaching
Teaching Hours: 9:45 am and finish teaching around 4:00 - 5:30 pm( 9:00 am – 6:00 pm working hrs)
Housing: Applicant’s choice between provided housing OR housing allowance of 450,000 KRW
Compensation: 2.40 to 2.70 million won
Benefits: Severance pay, vacation days + all national holidays off
Korean Pension: Fully comply with this regulation (YBM contributes equalivant amount)
Korean Medical Insurance: Half paid by employer and half paid by employee

1) E2/F4/D10 visa ARC card applicant holders or eligible for E2 visa sponsorship by having these documents.

2) Have documents for education office registration or have been previously registered

3) Some teaching experience to children
