YBM GATE (E2 & F4 Visa positions)

YBM GATE schools are Korea’s one and only English education program for gifted and talented learners. YBM GATE program has been extremely successful in the regions of Apgujeong, Seocho and Daechi and in 2015 YBM Education will open a new GATE school near Jamsil Station.

The GATE program is looking for HOMEROOM TEACHERS and SPECIAL SUBJECT TEACHERS. This is a great opportunity to live and work in one of the most premium neighborhoods of Seoul!

Jamsil GATE is conveniently located within a short walking distance from subway line 2 (Sincheon and Jamsil stations) and it is close to the Jamsil World Tower Mega mall, Lotte Amusement Park, the Sports Complex, Seokchon Lake Park and the Han River.

Daechi GATE within walking distance to Yeoksam Station (Line 2) or Hanti Station (Bundang Line). This school is located close to Dogok Park, COEX Shopping Mall and Convention Center, Gangnam Station, Apgujeong Rodeo & Garosugil and more.

Apgujeong GATE is located in one of the most prime areas of Seoul, within walking distance from trendy Apgujeong Station. Garosu-gil Road and Han River are is within walking distance and other popular areas such as Itaewon, Gangnam and even Hongdae are conveniently accessed as Apgujeong is located in Central Seoul.

HOMEROOM TEACHER (10+ positions): Compensation of 2.6 to 2.7 million KRW (E2 visa only)
Must meet one of the following criteria: 1) EducationMajor2) English Major 3) A Certificate/License to Teach at a public school in your home country

SPECIAL SUBJECT TEACHER (5+ positions): Compensation of 2.2 ~ 2.5 million KRW (E2/F4 visas)
Apply if you have a major/experience related to these subjects
* Art Subject teaching (arts and crafts related)
* Musical Theater/PE class (Music/PE related teaching)
* Math (math majors or math related teaching)
* Science subject (Science related teaching; ideally science major such as Biology, Physics, etc)
* Chinese Language- Must be fluent in English with the ability to teach Chinese (other work visas besides the E2/F4 will be accepted)

Start Date: End of February 2015 with early March as first day of teaching
Work Place: Apgujeong, Daechi and Jamsil GATE
Working Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm all year-round will not fluctuate
Teaching Hours: Start at 9:30 am -4:30 /5:30 pm teaching hours
Housing: Applicant’s choice between provided housing OR housing allowance of 450,000 KRW
Benefits: Severance pay, vacation days + all national holidays off
Korean Pension and Health Insurance: Fully comply with this regulation
