English teacher position starting March 2015. 1 year contract with free rent (2 bdrm apartment to yourself). Salary ranges from 2,000,000 to 2,400,000 won depending on experience. Health insurance, paid vacation, and pension (and other standard benefits) are all included.

The school is a private kindergarten called Feinschule. The position is one of 3 English teachers at the school. Curriculum and books are provided. The teacher would be the teaching a class entitled "English Village," in which the students learn about a different country every month, using the music, food, dance, and culture in general as a way to teach English to the students. Interactive cultural events are highly valued and encouraged. Hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Lunch is made by our school chef and is included.

Here is a bit about the school from the current teacher:

"I think it would really appeal to someone with a love and interest in world cultures (as it did for me). Let's see...the school is also out in the country (that's part of the way it's marketed), they have a little farm there where they grow some of the food that is served for lunch, and there are some farm animals as well. A nice two bedroom apartment is included in the contract and there is a bus that picks you up at the apartment and takes you to and from school. The kids are really sweet and the co-teachers are really supportive and always made me feel like part of the Feinschule family"

It would be great if we could find a teacher in the next couple of months, so that they could preferably arrive the last week of February and train with the current teacher for a week before the new school year starts in March.
