A Visitors Guide to Paris France
By:Thomas Smith

One of the most well known cities in the entire world is Paris. Paris is in France, and draws in thousands of tourists every year. And in addition to these tourists approximately 2.2 million people live in the city and its suburbs. When talking about the Paris metropolitan area, the population tops out at over 10 million people. With all of these people living in and around the city, Paris is always on the move no matter what time of the year it is.

The city of Paris is known as the international capital of art and fashion. It is safe to say that when a new style hits the rest of the world, the people have Paris had already seen it well in advance. If you love fashion, you need to travel to Paris to see where it all starts. And of course, Paris is also the home to some of the best art in the world. It is also called the Romantic City by some.

When in Paris there are three landmarks that you will not want to miss. People from all over the world travel to Paris to visit these attractions. Perhaps the most popular is the Eiffel Tower. But in addition to this landmark, you will also want to spend some time at the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, and the Napoleonic Arc de Triomphe. All three of these landmarks are among the most popular architectural and historical attractions in all of Europe.

When it comes to museums, Paris is the place to be. And if you can only see one, the Louvre should definitely be your choice. It is one of the largest and most visited museums in the world. The reason for this is simply; the Louvre is the home to some of the greatest works of art of all time. Included in this group is the Mona Lisa; but there is much more to see!

Paris does not have the best weather in the world, but at the same time it is very steady throughout the year. The Oceanic climate of Paris ensures that temperatures never get too hot of too cold. During the winter months of December and January temperatures may fall into the lower 40s or upper 30s. And in the summer months, July and August in particular, 75 degrees Fahrenheit is the average temperature. This makes for easy travel in Paris regardless of what time of the year it is.

Two airports handle the traffic in and out of Paris; the Orly Airport and the Roissy-en-France. The Roissy-en-France is the bigger of the two, and is one of the busiest airports in Europe. Hundreds of flights depart and arrive at both of these airports every day of the week.

For quite some time Paris has been among the most popular city for tourists. This trend is sure to hold steady as long as the landmarks dont fall, and the fashion industry stays put!
