By:Travel Expert

Paris, the world’s most romantic and lively city, highlights one of the most breathtaking gardens in Europe, Versailles Gardens. Majestic through their enigmatic organization of alleys and unique because of the tremendous Versailles Palace, the place embodies the genuine French architecture to make up for the most incredible natural scenery in Paris.

Spend some quality time walking through this spectacular maze and enjoy the variety of colors, as well as the breathtaking image of a staggering landscape.

The final architectural plan of the garden was designed by Andre Notre, who expanded the garden and made it spacious, lively and unique for travelers worldwide. The central spot of the Gardens is the Great Channel crossly shaped and highly admired; moreover, the surrounding parks have succeeded to create over the past few years a peaceful, romantic ambiance for tourists who come here to find quiet and tranquility.

The best way to start when visiting Versailles Gardens is to analyze the sides of the Castle following the Cardinal points. On the east side there’s a terrace formed from water ponds that seem to continue the architecture of the controversial castle; sculptured by Charles le Brun, every dock was decorated with 4 statues that represent the rivers of France.

The central gardens on the south side of the palace can be perfectly seen from the top of the incredible terrace. At the bottom of the terrace tourists will witness an immense fountain, entitled Latona, inspired by the metamorphosis of the legendary Ovidius while at the end of the royal alley, tourists will find the Apollo pond. Thus, the golden plumbed statue is an outstanding work of art created by the famous Tuby between 1668 and 1670 revealing a little bit from the former French legends and beliefs.

Moving forward, one other interesting place to see whenever you come to Versailles Gardens is the “bath of the nymphsâ€
