English schools in Europe
Czech Republic - Prague
School:St. James Language Center
St. James Education Center was founded in 1999 by Roman Kacin, a Czech-Canadian from Montreal. Having learned French in Quebec and then German when on assignment in Bavaria, Roman understands firsthand the challenges adult students face when learning a foreign language for business purposes. In the mid-1990s the number of language schools in Prague was growing rapidly, yet despite the wide variety and quality of schools on the market, Roman saw that there still remained a lack of professional schools specializing in teaching English language skills to business people keen to advance in their careers. St James was founded upon the principle of providing high quality, value-added teaching to the business community.
At present, St. James has over 100 teachers on its staff.
