In response to Legal action against fake degrees (UK) - Teachers discussion (Education)
What exactly is a degree certificate? I don't understand what that is, considering degrees and certificates are not even close to being the same animal. What makes a certificate a 'degree' certificate?
Where I'm from, a degree is not a certificate, nor is a certificate a degree. One earns a degree from a university after several years of study in a subject. A certificate is below the level of diploma and is awarded to those who finish short programs of a few weeks or months.
