Me too. I am hoping to do a short course in Chinese Politics in October. I also think global politics is important. I am asked by Americans and HK Chinese why I am so interested in the US elections, as a brit in HK. I simply reply that whatever happens in the USA has an effect on the rest of the world, ie, the current situation in the middle east.

But yes, organised religion does seem to keep coming up. Thanks for the reply.
