The conflict truly is about oil; the only one who bombed oil there is the Czar. Sultan's been taking advantage of the cheap ISIL oil and other nations that wish to fight Assad have "suspiciously" spared the oil there.

What the war regrettably isn't about to the west is the Christians that Syria has unlike other nations in the region. Women, for example, aren't looked down there as they are in Saudi Arabia which enjoys such a fine western support.

Sadly enough, the Czar's oppressive regime seems the only one in the world now that cares about people there. How could the west have made him look so good is beyond the words.

In the end, Russia will not only settle in Syria but also bring in all the necessary military hardware to aim at countries around as it has some valid excuses to do so now. Attempting to make the region safer than before, the west has created a ticking bomb there instead.
