Locals laugh many times when they don't understand something or when are embarrassed. Their sense of humor is often primitive to me and to my primary school kids. As for the add, it's an example of copycat and underdeveloped society. But I guess the Beatles with their "Yellow Submarine" would probably disagree with that.
