Not all the priests/bishops/popes were/are pedophiles. But they tolerated so many, over so
many decades, in so many areas of the world, and they denied it so vehemently until
evidence to the contrary was established beyond any reasonable doubt, that it's easy to
get a "funny" feeling when we see these men wearing dresses....

Certain religious people feel that they have a license to do anything. Rape, pillage, murder, the list goes on.....

Why? Because all they need to do on Sunday is to go to an old fancy building with lots of pretty windows and repent of all their sins. Their god will forgive them and they can start with a clean-slate on Monday and do it all again.

I was raised in a christian household and I am fully conversant with much of what the christian bible teaches the pea-brained people who believe it. However, whoever wrote that drivel forgot to start the fairy-story with the words 'Once Upon A Time...'

Religion, in all its forms, belongs in the dim-and-distant past, in a time when people thought the world was flat.

Human history has proved beyond any doubt that religion has caused nothing but pain and anguish - and continues to do so.
