Although your posts are usually polite, they sometimes, as it seems conveniently, disregard messages. The truth about the poster Turnoi, who has advertised himself as "doctor" with another user name and whom you've defended so much on the board, is that he can't write without errors in English. Yet you choose to ignore the explicit note about poster Turnoi deflecting with your continuous onslaught of user Amused whom you appear to know so well. So, why do you safeguard one that you say you know so little while attack one that you claim to know so much? Anyhow, it'd be helpful to see how you are so certain of the "doctor's" credentials as well as of the "amused" character.

Foxy "Blunt" Words:
Let me be blunt. Turnoi is a senior poster as you rightly said. However, a very short time ago Turnoi made available, for download, one of his Chinese dictionaries. I was one of the people who privately contacted Turnoi to request a password in order to download this publication.
Whilst I am sincerely grateful to Turnoi, the said publication has more spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and hideous punctuation that should be expected from such an example of works that have been publicly endorsed by someone with Turnoi's linguistic ability.

In short, a third-rate training-centre 'deecher' could have done a better job with the English contained in that 'book'.

To be fair to Turnoi, he did tell me upfront that the book had not been proof-read and that it may contain a few errors, but I did not expect it to be as abysmal as it actually is. However, what riles me is when I see Turnoi endorsing such shabby workmanship and then coming on here with immeasurable audacity and criticising other people's typing errors and misplaced commas.

Taffy's Empty Replied:
I don't know about Turnoi as i have never read his works, but I do know of a poster who likes
to correct others when there's nothing to correct and ends up getting it all wrong
herself.
It's a fault that could run in one's genes, I don't know. We should start
asking to look at their nucleotides, to get to the bottom of it.
