Just so, in the same way that Africans took 1.5 million whites from English and European
coastal villages, for profit, for slavery, for rape, during the 16th century. Half of
the Europeans died at the hands of the Africans on the way back to Africa- half of the
remaining half died of shock when they got to Africa, at the hands of their captors.
That was the white slave trade; further on down the line when we get the black slave
trade...well, that was largely Africans selling their brothers for profit to the
copycat-slave-traders. As for the native-americans- hard luck really, that's the way
human beings have treated other human beings irrespective of colour. I mean, not so long
ago really that early Christians got it in the ear and were reduced to slavery by
largely fellow whites.

Bloddy, although we consider it to be wrong NOW, this was the mentality at the time. No-one knows for sure as to the exact number, but in a period spanning around 200 years, they reckon around 3 million women in Britain were burnt at the stake for being a 'witch'.
As I said, it was the mentality at the time.
