Your user name itself has negative overtones in Western cultures. But it is your use of the English language that raises eyebrows. That you are not proficient with its use is not something that should invite scorn; however, since you profess to be a teacher you should expect to be held accountable for said lack of proficiency. On the other hand, if you were to tell me that you are endeavoring, through dilligent study, to improve your grammar and writing skills my eyebrows would return to their proper alignment. (A first step might be to realize/realise that there is a difference between British English and American English spelling.)

Now, lest you take this personally, you would do well to recognize that the question of professionalism and accountability in China - a recent thread in this forum - is a question that has been raised in good faith and with concern for the well being of Chinese students. Race is not the issue here. Prejudice? Maybe a little. But that prejudice is directed toward attitude and ability and not toward race or skin color.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
