I read the all the posts with regards to this first one on obtaining a teaching position within China. I doubt very much that the reason you are unable to obtain a position in China is because your Asian.

As for the posts discussing race or what is a grammatically correct sentence, that is all moot.

What it's important here is the frustration you feel because you believe the reason you are not being given a chance is due to how you look. Why not have a non-partisan party review your photo as well as resume and see if they can offer their opinion as well as suggestions to how you can improve your overall presentation.

It can be very frustrating when it comes to job searching for the right job in the country of your choice. I suggest conducting more research. That may not be what you want to hear, but the more sites you look on, the more you will get a feel for the types of teaching jobs that are out there and also have the opportunity to adjust your resume and/or photo by giving yourself more choices.

You will find the right school and when you do, just remember that they will be very lucky to have you.
