Ok, I think I get it. Your "opinion" then, based on conversations you've had with a few lawyer friends, is that these clauses are illegal. In other words you don't really know for sure, and yet you posted that information as if it were the gospel truth. I feel a bit like you've wasted my time, as did reading your rather lengthy diatribe that was obviously meant to assuage your apparent guilt at posting "factual" information that in fact was only information that was surmised. Please don't waste my time on any additional unsubstantiated information that could perhaps, and unfortunately, occupy the time of someone who is truly interested in understanding the EFL abroad situation.
